About Control the Kaos

We started Control the Kaos because we were tired of software that costs too much and does too little. Every tool we tried was either bloated with features we didn't need, locked behind enterprise pricing, or designed to trap us into staying.

So we decided to build the alternative. Each product we make follows the same principles: solve one problem well, price it fairly, and never resort to dark patterns to keep users around. If our tools are good, people will stay. If they aren't, they should be free to leave.

We're not a venture-backed startup chasing growth at all costs. We're a small studio that ships software we're proud of — tools we use ourselves, every day.

The name? It comes from the Greek kháos — the formless void before creation. In mythology, it's where everything began. We see it the same way: where others see disorder and complexity, we see opportunity. Gaps where simple, honest tools should exist but don't. We're here to build in that void — one simple tool at a time.
